I guess that is the one thing I have learned with God's grace over the years (and especially through the adoption process) that our plans are not necessarily His plans. I've learned to roll with it for the most part. A few years ago, any changes that had to be made in my day that weren't part of MY plans would have completely stressed me out. These days, it's more of a shrug of the shoulders, and an "oh well, I'll just have to make the best of it!" If I look back on it, most days still turn out to be good days, busy days, full days, and that's not a bad thing at all.
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. Proverbs 16:9
Wishing you a blessed Sunday!

ReplyDeleteMy weeks don't always go as planned, but I try my best to go with the flow, I know that God knows what is coming my way and will carry me through. :)
Praying she's feeling better. I'm in awe of how quickly antibiotics often work - thank the Lord for modern medicine :D
ReplyDeleteAnd well done on rolling with the punches :D

That's a great perspective to have and to be able to roll with changes. Life seems to be so very full of changes and unexpected things!!! Hoping your little one is all better now :)
ReplyDeleteBeing flexible is one of the things God is teaching me over here in the Solomon Islands! Glad you are learning it so quickly and so close to home :-)
