That's the same for us... Only 2 pretty heavy snow falls all "winter". Right in time for the New Year too... But now it's all melted. Just a bit of slushy ice and water around.
If the weather man is right we're supposed to be getting some tonight and over the next couple days. But who ever trusts the weather man? God is more reliable! :)
What cute little matching girlies on a beautiful day! It is so cold and rainy here. Who would have thought one needed to go to Canada for a little sunshine? I really think we need to winter in South America.
I know it sure doesn't feel like January! We have been enjoying it, although we sort of miss the snow too. But this sure makes things easier when taking care of farm animals and also the girls have had lovely afternoons for riding their horses.
I'm not complaining, I'm not one who misses the snow, just some of my children are. :) I just wonder what spring will be like!
What sweet pictures, Deborah. I'm so glad that you are enjoying wonderfully warm weather. We are supposed to have a bit of a light freeze in the next few days. Wish I could enjoy the park with you and the wee ones...sure looks like a lot of fun. Blessings ~a
Beautiful girls! I think it does feel like January to me, only because we've had some cold (for us) weather already due to a cold front and have another one moving in the end of this week. A lot of our days are bleak and overcast. That is a sure sign of winter around here.
I've been wondering about this. While you and I find this weather very mild, I would think the wee ones would still find it cold, this being their first winter here. No???
I know - it's been unseasonably warm in Colorado, too. My friend in SD says the same thing. Makes it nice to enjoy time outdoors, but I am concerned for our lack of moisture.
SUCH a weird winter so far, isn't it? I can just see April being brutal--hope not!!!

ReplyDeleteMy sentiments exactly. I walked around campus in a sweater today, and was perfectly comfortable. I do miss the snow though...
