1000 Gifts

It's January and that means life resumes it's normal hectic pace, but at the same time is the month of the blahs for me. That means it's a great time for me to keep working on my 1000 Gifts. Those moments that catch me unaware, the moments that make me smile, that give me peace, that give me hope, and fill me with joy!

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 116:11

  • Fleece sheets
  • The scent of pine (even if it is candle induced)
  • Housecoats

    5. Deborah,
Rediscovering chocolate...lovely and delicious. I am totally addicted...even when I try not to indulge, I just can't.
I'm glad you were able to get some uninterrupted sleep and some quiet time during movie time.
Here's to a great, peaceful week...full of sunshine.

    6. What kind of chocolate did you rediscover? Like a favorite brand, or a stash you had forgotten about? Both sound lovely!

    7. Your "list" gives sweet encouragement... thanks again! I too might try a list like this of my own :D Can't think of a better perspective...

    8. Great list!! Filling our heart with gratitude really does change the picture. :)

      Blessings to you!!

P.S I was dreaming about you and your family last night. We were all at some church for a program of singing etc... and I happened to see you and had to go over and introduce myself. LOL It was sort of funny!

    9. Love your thanksgiving posts...I jot mine down in my journal.

    10. Wonderful list! I'm keeping mine in a little pocket journal this year.

I've always wondered how medicine knows what to do and where to work. It's curious when you really ponder that.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I love to hear from my readers!
