This is how we beat yesterday's record high temperature. It was a real feel of 105.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
We swam
and swam
and swam
and swam
and swam some more
and occasionally we dried off.
I hope everyone is finding ways to stay cool if you're sharing in this heatwave!
Those pool shots look like pure summer fun! Hope you can beat the heat when it's time to sleep.
ReplyDeleteMy boys have fond memories of me lifting them, sweaty, from their beds in what felt like the middle of the night (more like 9:30 or 10) and tossing them in our kiddie pool in their underwear for a moon-light swim :d
Oh I'm so glad you posted! It's funny because I came to check if you did today, and you hadn't so I got hooked on looking at your older posts... probably from a very long time ago... then... I clicked home and wa-lah! You posted! So glad you had fun swimming today... our day here in MN was VERY hot too!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Thanks for sharing pics of your beautiful family! Stay cool and enjoy the pool (hey, that rhymed!)
ReplyDeleteSwimming sure helps in this heat, doesn't it? I read on twitter you got a/c. I can't imagine how I would survive without it. So glad you guys are keeping cool now! ~Leslie
ReplyDeleteWe were at 117F real feel yesterday. I would die without central AC. Don't know how I managed without it before. Am trying desperately to convince hubby that we need a pool.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Oh, that dog. I bet my dog would love a swim in the kiddie pool!
