Mud Pies

The Littles have been having a busy morning. Busy getting down and dirty. I finally gave up on keeping them clean. We had a nice downpour last night that left water in the sand toy box.


Score!! We can make mud pies!


At least until mom catches us. Mom, is too tired to do battle on this one. Not worth it. They're happy and I'm enjoying the peace (while it lasts).


I'll wash them down a bit with the hose and put clean clothes on them before we head to the library later today.

Even poor Maverick is looking like he's been in on the mud pie action.

    LOL! They look like they are having so much fun. Our driveway consists of dirt, sand, and seashells. Whenever we get a good rain, my youngest goes out and digs away. I finally decided to stop trying to prevent it and let him get good and messy.

    This is The Best kind of busy EVER! Love it!!! My kids used to do this and I would squirt them down with the water hose right there in the yard...and I even shampooed their hair right there, too. =)
