I did find it kept me on the edge of my seat. Both the Engineer and Peach read it as well and enjoyed it very much! It was a real blessing to see such a deep abiding faith in a woman so young. Di Stefano also has an uncanny ability to write with lots of foreshadowing -- thus why one is kept on the edge of their seats! It also gave me more of a glimpse into the culture and lifestyle of the Filipino peoples! (What beautiful people they are!!) I can't wait to read this one to my girls when we're back at the home schooling again! Now if only I can keep it out of Beans's hands or there will be no surprises for her!
