I don't think I even blogged about it, but we agreed to have our adoption director send ICAB an email to let them know that we were interested in the girls. We didn't hear anything for two and a half weeks, so we all figured that ICAB was looking at another family. Then on Friday, while I was at the pool with the kids, we received a phone call from our director saying that ICAB had reviewed our file and that they are holding the girls for us. I replayed the message three times before it fully sank in. They are holding the girls for us!!!! They like our profile! Now we wait again. We are waiting to receive more history, and details on the girls, as well as their medicals. Our director is asking that they write up a proposal so that we can get the ball rolling on bringing these precious little girls HOME!
So Anyways, the Engineer and I spent Friday in a cloud. We were suddenly overwhelmed with all there is that we have to do as well as the finances of all of this, but we know like every other step of this process that God has it under control. We have also discovered that God truly does have a sense of humour too, but more about that in another post. I have to get ready for church now or we're all going to be late!
Have a wonderful sabbath day, my dear friends!
My heart leaped for joy at this new! So excited for your family. We will be praying for all the details to workout.
