I've been down for the count with a nasty migraine. One of the worst I've had in a long time. My usual meds didn't work, so I went in for a shot this morning. The shot has made me feel off (loopy?) most of the day. Now I'm feeling less off, but the headache is heating up a little again. It often does that, so I'm not going to fret. I'll just make is an early night tonight -- and if I have to, go in and get another shot. Ugh!
Before my "fun" all started, I got my quilt top done!! It was a lot of fun too!
Hopefully I will feel much better tomorrow and will be able to catch up on my blog reading! I do so enjoying reading your blogs!
Looks very cozy already, yet light, with all those cream blocks. Isn't it a good feeling to do something that isn't rapidly undone?!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon,
Julie
Oh it is wonderful I love it...I am not very good at quilts they always end up so crooked lol!! I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well Praying The Lord brings healing and relief soon ~Blessings Love Heather
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your migraines.
ReplyDeleteBut in a brighter note, your quilt top is gorgeous. I feel as if I am getting my "fix" by watching yours come together. I can't miss your flourishing art of domesticity.
I'm so sorry you have been suffering, Deborah! I'll pray for a painless day tomorrow! I love your quilt top! It reminds me of Africa.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the migraine, but the quilt! How lovely! How DO you get so much done???
ReplyDeleteThat looks gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a migraine too, not that that is something to be excited about. Feel better!!!
Oh, I used to get migraines when I was in my 30's and 40's and I know how horrible they are. I am so sorry!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is simply beautiful. I am envious that you have the ability to make such a lovely object. I never could do the sewing thing!
Thanks so much for your comments on my blog this week. I did finally have to come to my mom's since the fumes were so bad at my house.
Grace to you

ReplyDeleteHope your head feels better soon. I prayed for you.
... and I need to ask you how to contact the Anne you mentioned at Minglers.
We seem to be in need of her ;)
Thank you all for your kind words and prayers! It is fun to do something that doesn't get undone immediately. Wow, can you ever tell that I was totally focused on the quilt top and then down with a migraine. My house is suffering greatly because of it :oS. Oh well, sometimes its fun to be consumed by one project.
ReplyDeleteBlessings all!
Deborah

I love the cheeriness of your quilt design. And another thing I love: it seems like a pattern even I could follow, so it is extra inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHope your migraine and loopiness are completely gone by now.
