A Skirt for Squirt

I'm working on a skirt for Squirt. Choosing the fabric (from my stash), the pattern, cutting, and sewing in the pleats we all easy. I still struggle with zippers. I think I need to take a sewing class where all we do is put in zippers.

This skirt has a waistband too. Hmmm, I could be awhile figuring it out yet.
