For the Birds

We haven't put up our bird feeder for the past couple of years, but this year it's up before the snow flies and we are already enjoying the busy activity that goes on around it all day. So far is mainly sparrows with a few finches on occasion, but as the snow comes and blankets the earth, we will enjoy juncos, cardinals, blue jays, and perhaps a few other species of birds.

It makes the sometimes very dull, long winter months a little more bright.
