A Country Wedding

We had the pleasure of attending the wedding of the Engineer's nephew. It was an outdoor country wedding, and it was simply lovely!

I fell head over heels in love with M's dress! So refreshing to see something so simple, elegant and NOT strapless!!

Entrance to the reception.

Country elegance.

Yum!!

Love the mismatched, but oh-so-pretty china at the head table!

This was the bride's bouquet. It is made entirely of brooches. Once her family and friends heard what she was doing, they sent her some, and she and her mom found the other ones by scouring thrift stores, etc.

Fun!! All the different glass containers are so pretty!

Thank you J and M for sharing your day with us! We pray God will bless you richly as you continue life's journey together.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls an has no one to help them up. Also if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiates 4: 9 -12
