The children now have two days of school down. Peanut had her first day today. She came running down the lane all smiles and full of chatter, so far so good :o). I am just at the beginning stages of crossing things off my giant to do list. I'm pretty sure I will have enough to keep my busy until June and then some!
I'm thankful that we have the freedom in our country to choose how and where our children are educated. I am thankful that our five youngest children can attend a Christian school a mere five minutes down the road, where the classes are small and the teachers and staff truly care about our children. I am also thankful for the Catholic high school that our two oldest attend. Although their religion classes are different than that of a Christian high school, they are learning lots and it enables lots of discussion for our family. It is a good school. Not too big and not too small. I am pleased with how much the teachers and staff care about the teenagers they work with there.
I looking forward to some fresh starts and new habits. I think it's going to be a very good year for the kids and me!
Are you looking forward to getting some new and different tasks completed this year?
