Yesterday, while in the depths of the second winter cold (drip, drip, drip) in a month (I rarely ever get colds), I was staring out the front window and saw this:
I took a photo so you don't think I've become delusional. I am not on any cold medications, I just have really full and painful sinuses. That little spot of sunshine goes to show you what a mild winter we're having. Perhaps that's why I have my second cold in a month. We haven't had a deep freeze to kill all the germs like other winters. All I can say is, this cold HAS to be gone by tomorrow! I'm off to disinfect doorknobs with my Melaleuca Solu-gard.
My kids hate the smell. I love it! Sage! I KNOW things are clean!
Crazy weather, eh? Our backyard looks like Spring thaw too!
ReplyDeleteAw, hope you're better soon!
ReplyDeleteA Dandelion?!? maybe that groundhog was wrong this morning :)
So sorry! We're having the same weather here... strange.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying that you feel better... by tomorrow? What's tomorrow?
Blessings, Debbie
Oh no! Hope you're feeling better soon. And what's happening tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteJulie
Weird weather all around...
ReplyDeleteSorry about your cold! I hope you feel better soon...
Get better soon!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave little dandilion...
Yes, a mild winter for sure and it has been our worst as far as sickness goes.
Such a pretty picture :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
Sorry your aren't feeling the best. But as for the dandilion, I'm just plain jealous! We still have ice and snow down in the Ottawa area!
ReplyDeleteThe mild winter was brought up for discussion while we were waiting for tkd to start yesterday. Unfortunately this winter means the upcoming hurricane season may be a really nasty one. I'm praying it's not! Feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteOur snow is also melting and we haven't had a good frost either.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on that cleaning! I haven't heard of that cleaner. It's funny because I hate the smell of true lemon cleaner that my mom uses to mop the floors. But it seems to be the only smell I don't like out of all of the cleaners.
Blessings,
~Michlyn
Oh my, you ARE having a mild winter. My neighbor has that x 100, a sea of yellow. They could make wine. It is a mild one here in tx, too. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you start feeling better speedy fast!
ReplyDeleteI was tempted to start yard work today...decided to go shopping instead:0)
Love to you.
Kelly
Oh, Deborah! Get well soon! I am looking at piles of leftover snow from the last snow storm. I have a wool sweater on. No flowers here. Dash!
