Pink Crinkle

"You sewed that!?" Peach asks incredulously. I give her the you-doubt-my-abilities look which Beans sees and causes her to go into snorts of laughter. There you have it. Even my daughters know that sewing does not come naturally to me.

In the end, they each have a pink crinkle skirt.

Beans hits the floor and Peaches doesn't quite make it to her ankles.

They both love them.

And it only took me six months or to make them!

What is making you happy today?

  8. Very pretty! I had a very happy day...went on a lunch and movie date with my 15 year old son, dropped by for a visit with my mom, bought a love seat at the thrift store that is the same brand as my other furniture AND it matches, and I picked up some duck feed. =) Oh, and they started working on our new floors today.

  9. Aww, thank you all for sharing what is making you happy today! It was fun to read all your different things! It made me happy to read them!

Debbie, I found the fabric on the sale table a few years back at our local fabric store. I couldn't resist buying it -- even though I had no idea what I was going to do with it at the time :oS.

    Blessings all!
