Fort Little Girls
Yesterday, I had the first peaceful morning since our Wee Three arrived home. Squirt and her sisters were having a grand time in their "fort." Really, it's just a large opening in our tree line. It's cool and quiet in there with lots of room for a blanket, the dollies, and a picnic. There were no fights, no crying, and no screaming. Just contented chatter, singing, and occasional laughter.
It did my Mama heart much good to have a peaceful morning. Me? I worked on weeding one of the gardens. Within ear shot and sight, but not enough for them to notice me. Perfect!
Wishing all our Canadian friends and family a Happy Canada Day and everyone a fantabulous weekend!
