One Week In and Father's Day

Perhaps this is the honeymoon phase, or perhaps it was because our girls were in such a wonderful and caring orphanage . Either way, they are amazing! Not to say that there aren't constant battles and me having to get my head around all this crazy busy chaos, but we can see that God definitely had these three girls chosen for our family!!

Perhaps it was a no no, but we went to church. Back in the PI the girls are very used to going to church on Sunday, and Bella asked first thing when we got up today, if we were going to church. We let Bella go to Children's Worship with Squirt, but we kept the two little ones with us the whole service. They sat in our laps nearly the entire time, and never gave a peep!

Bella was beaming from ear to ear to be able to go to Children's Worship with Squirt. It was good to be worshipping with our church family again! After church, my family came over for a short visit. The kids all played and the girls came in regularly to keep checking up on us.

In the afternoon we enjoyed the sunshine and warmth of the outdoors. Most of the older children played Dad in a few rounds of the ladder game (his Father's Day present). I didn't get the opportunity, but I'm sure I will some time. We enjoyed cupcakes on a quilt in the shade.

It was a good day. A quiet day. It was so very good to finally have all seven children together!

May you all have had a blessed Father's Day in some way!

Love and prayers!
