I set the girls to
making a mess playing with play dough so I could bake some cookies. I did a flurry of baking before we left for the Philippines and the girls and Grampa finished it just before we arrived home. Peach went to the freezer yesterday in the hope that there was still some in there. I told her I would
attempt to make some. Success! I didn't get the entire double batch baked, but I had cookies for them when they got home and they were happy. (Sometimes it's the little things).
We're working our way through making every. single. recipe. in this book. I received it for Christmas.
We're not very far yet, but so far, every recipe is good -- even when I don't have enough eggs (like yesterday). The cookies still turned out beautifully.
I'm glad I baked yesterday though because the humidity shot right up today. If this keeps up, I might have to resort to buying cookies!
Happy baking to those who dare in the heat :o)!
Yummy! I would be happy, too if there were fresh cookies when I get got home. They look so good, i can almost smell them. What a sweet mommy you are!
