Today is the day that I usually post on the topic of adoption. I have a post in the works, but it isn't complete yet (hopefully next week :oS). I'll give a wee teaser of what it's about. It's about one of the many adoption related books that I've read. In my humble opinion, it is hands down the best book relating to adoption out there. That's all I'm going to say for now.
For now, I would love to know if any of you my readers have any questions regarding adoption. If you do, leave a comment here, or fire us an email (tab at the top), and I will try to answer them as best as I can in a future post.
One more thing because whenever we see or talk to anyone who hasn't seen or heard from us in a few days, we get asked this question every time. The answer is, no we haven't heard anything new. Truth be told, I love hearing that question -- as tiring as it gets to always be saying no -- because it reminds me of how many people we having thinking of us, praying for us, and are just downright excited for our family.
So the rundown is...
The girls had their medicals on March 21. We should be getting a phone call anywhere from four to eight weeks after their medical date. So that means we could hear as early as next week (wow!!!!) or as late as the middle of May. I won't tell you when I think the call will come, but I have a hunch and so does the Engineer. Let's just say that arranging to get out of here will just be a little more difficult than we previously planned...
Trusting you all had a weekend filled with simple joys!
Goosebumps! It's soon I think!
ReplyDeleteintersted to know what the book is... Hope that your travel dates do not make things to complicated. If you want to know about any other books there is a good list on my blog and also a good one on Diana's blog - Gold to Refine. Not sure what part of this big province you are in but I am always open to chatting via email if you want to talk about things once they are home with someone who gets older child adoption.
ReplyDeletePraying and praying for that phone call to come soon and for your arrangements to be smooth.
