I think I'm get the hang of knitting -- without a pattern at least. I made this slouchy tam for Peach out of an idea in my head, and happily it worked! (If only I could have the same success with sewing).
Her favorite part? The pom pom. Personally I like that it's striped. Does anyone else have a project on their needles these days?
I absolutely love it! It's beautiful, and I'm amazed that you did it with no pattern! I am in no way close to that creative. I can't knit or crochet to save my life.
ReplyDeleteI don't own a sewing machine, but I am attempting to sew a blanket for Little R. by hand. I told my husband that our kiddo might be home before I ever finish pinning it because of my total lack of talent. That's why I love coming here and admiring YOUR talent!
It's perfect! I definitely think you have the hang of it. And to do that without a pattern? Now, THAT is impressive. My mind simply can't wrap itself around the whys and wherefores of knitting.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I'm very impressed with your knitting skilz!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!! And I'm so impressed!!! I think the fuzzy dimension is so cool.
ReplyDeleteIt speaks of blue winter skies, snow drifts and snowballs!
ReplyDeleteYou are smart like that.
And Peach is the perfect wearer of such fancy.
On my needles, a tea cozy. I must get back to knitting again. This winter there has been little interest, maybe too tired? I never thought I would ever be too tired to knit! The things we learn.
I love it! I've thought about crocheting (sp) a blanket for a friends baby.....oh but the time and the learning! :)
