I will be spending lots of hours at our local pool again this summer. Being a small town, there is no lack of people I know that will be at the pool too. It is always a nice time of visiting and catching up after the winter months of hibernating and a different kind of busyness.
Rare is the occasion that one can sit with their nose in a book, so I picked up my crochet hook and some delicious wool and began to work on a small afghan. Being that I can't understand a pattern and I only know a few basic stitches, it's a very simple afghan -- which I've already had to rip out once. It has a funny row in it again, but at least this time it's not continuing to get wider and wider. At the rate I was going the first time, I could have worn it as an a-line skirt by the time I was done.
I think it quite looks like cotton candy.
Nice! I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets confused by crochet patterns. I love Cotton Candy! It's gorgeous!
