Thrift Store Finds Part II

Last week when the Engineer and I went to the thrift store we also picked up a few other little goodies. I have a horrible weakness for tea things. How could I resist these darling little cream and sugar sets, or this unique teapot that reminds me of a beehive.

Peach received a package of knitting looms (?) for Christmas and has been knitting like crazy ever since, so when I saw all the packages of wool they had, I picked up a couple for her. I could already envision what she would be making with them.

Then because I seemed to be on a good finds day, I also picked up this book.

Seems I have some work to do. It's a great book full of helpful tips. I've already learned a few things from it.

  3. It sounds like you had a fun time! Thrift stores are perhaps one of my favorite places to go when I go back to Massachusetts to visit my family. My mom and I can spend a few hours easily, and we always have fun. I have a weakness for tea things as well, and I must say that teapot is very sweet.

  4. Resisting such treasures would surely be a crime????

After all that is what thrift stores are all about, being thrifty.
