My uncooperative hat models.
What can we say, Faraway Gramma likes to knit in the winter months and kind of forgets that these grandkids don't attend a school. They just don't lose a lot of hats. I do love their bright colours and pom poms and hey, if it gets really cold, they can always layer. This year they got mittens instead, which is really good because we do seem to go through a lot of mittens. Gramma even sewed some fancy beadwork on the girls. Too fun!As if they don't have enough hats, I made one for Squirt the other day and finished it off with the sweet flower from a tutorial on my friend Heather's blog. By the way, she is hosting a giveaway too for a really cool (or should I say warming) tea cozy, so go on over and check it out!
Must you take my picture again?!
LOVE that last picture... so much personality!

Oh what a beautiful collection of handmade hats! Yahooo for Grandma! She's a star!
ReplyDeleteThe hats are completely adorable! My kids would love to wear something like that around the house (yes, even though it's warm the majority of the time here LOL).
ReplyDeleteI love the embellishment. And the knitted hats and mitts are treasures!
