I just got off the phone with our social worker. Now I know why its been taking her so long to write up our homestudy. The government kindly decided to change the template on how adoption studies are to be written up. We still meet her approval, she's just not having fun reworking how our study is supposed to be written. She's coming out this weekend to get some signatures yet and then I think we might.just.be.on.our.way. to Toronto to personally deliver our BIG book!!!
I keep telling myself, all in God's timing! He knows the little one He has chosen for us. I get giddy with excitement when I think we might finally be able to say that we're pregnant!! Paper pregnant that is!

ReplyDeleteI realized that I just left a comment "from" my test blog! Oops!
That was from me... Julie
Very Exciting!I am sure you feel relieved to know the details! I guess I did not notice you were in Canada until you mentioned Toronto. I grew up in Niagara Falls Ont. ~Happy 4th & Blessings Heather
ReplyDeleteA test blog?!? Hmmm, sounds top secret :o)!
ReplyDeleteAck. It's no big deal. It's just where I fiddle around with changing the look of my 'regular' blog, without worrying about losing things.
ReplyDeleteBut I deleted the remark...
Anyway - WAITING IS NO FUN! But it helps to know why there is a delay, and that it's not anything problematic regarding you all (couldn't be!) or your paperwork.
Hang in there.
Our friends in Zambia just got to bring their little girl home yesterday (July 4) - I linked it on my blog.
Looking forward to rejoicing with you,
Julie
Amazing what a lengthy process this is. Hoping to hear you're delivering that book soon!
ReplyDeleteWe had quite a lot of annoying delays, too, but as you said, it is all part of God's timing! ♥
