We did it!! We managed to collect enough mulberries to make not one, but two mulberry pies -- and still put enough berries in the freezer for at least two more pies.
The recipe I used called for 1 1/4 cups sugar per pie. When I make another one I will reduce that greatly. They were a little too sweet for our taste. I saw another recipe that only called for 1/3 a cup sugar, so I think I'll do something in between next time.
Regardless, it was tasty!
