Cardmaking

Last night I went to a cardmaking class. I really enjoyed it. I have lots of the materials for making cards, but it is another one of those things that you need time and room for -- both of which are a little lacking this time of year. Going to the class was a nice way to make a few cards without having to get all my stuff out.

They're in order from my least favorite to my favorite. I don't like the orange splotches on the first card. I think it looks like I got glue all over it or something.

I love the concept of the second card, but because of my perfectionistic tendencies, it drives me crazy that all the circles are not perfectly aligned, nor are the flowers stamped behind aligned properly. (There are "sparklies" in the circles, but you can't see them in the photo).

I have no complaints about the third one though. It was really interesting to make and turned out well enough that I don't get annoyed looking at it. :o)Perhaps when our basement is finished I will have room to get out my materials and be able to make a few more on my own.

  1. You did a wonderful job! I have supplies on hand, but no time as my list of things I'd like to do is already so long I'll never get it all accomplished.

  2. Deborah...I love the cards!!! I have boxes of cardmaking supplies....but I never seem to pull them out anymore since the children have come. I used to make cards everyday...now it's only one or two times per year!! But yours are gorgeous and inspire me to make some again!!
