Slip Sliding Away

True to the forecaster's prediction the temperature soared to a humid 28C (84F). It's wonderful! Of course with this kind of temperature the children felt a need to cool off somehow.

We bought a slip and slide a few years ago for those days when I could not be outside watching the children in the pool. This way they could still cool off, but I didn't have to be right there. I could be watching them out the window, while I did kitchen work.

That's Close-By Gramma in the first picture. She's holding the slide so the wind doesn't keep flipping it over.
