The Storage Room

I know I said I was going to wait to do it over the holidays so that my Engineer could help, but I have grand aspirations of doing other things, so I decided to tackle it now instead. It took me quite a few days, but not full days. Just snatches of time here and there.

Before you think, that that's all we have stored, keep in mind that we have some really awkward attic storage too. AND we have a garage.

See that stack just to the left of the shelves? Those boxes and the piles on top are all various forms of paper. Then on the far right -- the four boxes on the bottom two shelves are even more boxes with paper. Can you tell I have a paper hoarding issue? That my  friends, is my project for the new year. It'll likely take me to June to get it done, so I had better get at it right away in January.

This shelf is directly opposite the ones with the empty spaces on it. I didn't show you is in the before photos as it wasn't even there then. I took it all apart and pulled it out of our crawl storage. I have the aches and pains to prove it too.  Fourteen of those fifteen boxes is clothes for the girls, and one is shoes. Happily, each year, the amount stored should get smaller (I hope) as the youngest outgrows yet another box of clothes.

At this point, I'm still trying to decide if I'm a hoarder or not. There are some things that I am very hard pressed to get rid of ever. How about you? Do you have this much stuff (and more)?
