We're not sure how much exposure they've had to water, but if it was little to none you'd never know it now. Bright Eyes went from this:
To this:
Jumping off the diving board on the very first day! Her older sister hadn't even tried it yet!!
The others seemed to quite enjoy their lessons too. Bella was quite confident on the board by the end of the two weeks.
Peanut, on the other hand, was not quite as confident.
Squirt was pleased that after stagnating for two years in level four, she managed to pass two levels.
Well, it looks like I'll be spending at least another eight years at the pool! I'm not complaining becauseI can think of worse things to do with my summer.
What do you enjoy doing with your summer?
Such fun! They are all little fish!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks like the girls are now in love with water. So is Rafael. I just love seeing their smiling faces and they are obviously doing wonderfully!! Thanks for sharing the photos. As for our summer, it has passed us by. We only had one week of nice weather and the rest has been 9-12 degrees with rain, wind and fog. I'm kind of jealous of your beautiful weather but I think the sun is supposed to come out tomorrow. We haven't see it in the past 10 days and that is not a word of a lie. Enjoy the rest of your summer!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that your Filipina princesses are enjoying the water. 'T' absolutely loves water too, and is so brave. I
ReplyDeleteShe likes to think that she can swim as fast as us; her big sisters. But of course that isn't the case. Oh summer!! It has gone by too fast... With only about 2 weeks left we hope to plan a few extra fun things before school starts again.
Blessings,
~Michlyn
I'm really impressed. Obviously they have a wonderful trust and are doing well!

We have been swimming everyday I have actually been concerened Anna's light blond hair might start turning green and I have not seen any swim shampoo over here :O ...but so far it hasn't yet thankgoodness ~Enjoy your summer Love Heather
ReplyDeleteThe kids look like they are having fun. You asked what we were doing with our summer. We like to go geocaching. You might like to try that with your kids too. Once you have the GPS, the rest of the fun is free. What kid doesn't like to go treasure hunting? My oldest grandson could help navigate to a cache with the GPS by the time he was three!
ReplyDeleteYabut, geocaching is on our list of summer things to do, although we do enjoy doing it year round. It's been so hot this summer that it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully soon!!
