Menu Plan Monday
It's that time of the week already again. I am finding that having this accountability on my blog helps me to be more organized about our meals. The question is will I be able to keep this up for the rest of the year :o).
If you would like to get some ideas on what to serve for your dinners this week, pop on over to Laura's blog, Organizing Junkie for Menu Plan Monday to see if there might be something that will tickle your palate.
Monday:Tricolore liguine, whole wheat bread, salad
Tuesday: Orange Roughy with curry mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots
Wednesday: Roast turkey, rosemary sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce
Thursday: Chicken Stroganoff
Friday: Homemade pizza -- not sure what type yet :o), salad
Saturday: Baked beans and Mexican cornbread
Sunday: Lumpia (Filipino spring rolls), Ginataang Manok (Chicken cooked in coconut milk).

MMMMMM...... Mexican cornbread sounds great!
ReplyDeleteYour menu sounds so exotic compared to mine. I am procrastinating doing the planning thing. I know I ought to, need to, etc. But, each night I do try to imagine what I ought to serve the next day. And it's never as exciting as what you're planning!! Can we come up for supper??? *L*
ReplyDeleteSince I'm swearing off bread and sweets for a while, can I come over for the baked beans? Your family is very blessed! These meals matter, Deborah. They are soul binders, memory makers, and physically life giving. YOU are a wonderful mother!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was eating at your house this week! Your menu looks delicious.
