If you drive 20 minutes to the northeast of where we live, the snow blowers and snow plows are all working overtime. The Engineer's brother keeps reminding us of that fact. (They however, live two hours northwest of us). Although we have had hours of gentle falling snow over the course of days, it has amounted to a mere dusting. How can you make snowmen or go sledding in our miniscule amount of snow? Well, where there's a will, there's a way.
Today the buses were all canceled and many of the schools are closed. Maybe the dark green on the radar is finally over our county!
Geocaching looks like such a fun family activity! p.s. I really love all your photos...
ReplyDeleteKids will find a way to make their fun - good job, guys!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling geocaching will be in our future too.
Now you need one of those T-shirts that says, "I use multi-million dollar satellites to find tupperware in the woods." ;D

We were supposed to get "just a dusting," yesterday but we've now learned that "just a dusting" means 48 hours of continuous snow with drifts and 50 mph winds. I should have been a weatherman! I'd love to get paid to be wrong all the time!
ReplyDeletehehehe how cute is that!! You guys made an awesome snow man I love it!! ~Blessings Heather
ReplyDeleteI love the little snowman!!!! Too cute! A dusting is all we've really gotten too!
ReplyDeleteI hate to ask for a snow day so soon after returning to school, but I do want one. Your snowman is very chic! I like him! Tell the kids,"Bravo!"
ReplyDeleteThat is one cool snowman!

Cute! My boys are wishing for your snow. It's so cold here that they hope it does snow. The forecast for tonight is 29 ... maybe they'll get to see some ocean effect snow.
