House for Sale

For sale: One nice looking home on 1.5 acres of land with lots of mature trees. New windows upstairs and in basement. Partially finished basement. Very bright and cozy. This house also has an indoor swimming pool in the basement.

This is the ad I would have put in the newspaper, if it wouldn't actually be detrimental to selling our house. Here I am typing on the computer while the Engineer is sucking up water in the thankfully unfinished part of our basement.

While we were out doing a photo shoot, we got a doozy of a thunderstorm. Lots and lots of rain. The rain didn't know where to go and decided to come up the drain of our window well, fill it up and proceed to run down our walls, silt and all. We now have a very muddy, wet couple of rooms.

One other thing, this is not the first time by any means that we have had water in our basement and it is just the icing on the cake for yet another ridiculously busy week. This too shall pass...
