We have a Finch nest in the Christmas wreath I neglected to take down in the new year. I am really curious if all these eggs (if you look closely, you will see there are six of them) are hers, or if a brown-headed cowbird snuck in a few of her own.

ReplyDeleteI am hoping to document each step from hatching to fledging to leaving the nest permanently. Hopefully they all survive and thrive!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! We usually just find the shells, but one year we cut a tree down and found a nest - fallen - with 4 unbroken eggs. We put it up in the grape vines and the robins came back to it!
