A small sampling of what is in my gardens in early July.
Perennial Sunflowers
Milkweed. Yes, it's actual milkweed. I'm trying to attract Monarchs for a real live science lesson. So far no success.
Butterfly weed. A relative of milkweed.

Two of several varieties of Asiatic Lilies.
Pink Yarrow.
Brown-eyed Susans.

They're all so lovely! My oldest would be camped out by the milkweed hoping to see monarchs! We read a book this last school year by Jean Craighead George (I think that's the correct author) called Moon of the Monarchs ... very enjoyable.
