Favorite Mail

It arrived! This year's copy of the Sonlight Curriculum Catalog. When I see it, it causes my heart to beat a little quicker and I get giddy with excitement. Although I haven't even used the Sonlight curriculum yet, I'm excited to start this coming fall. I still don't know whether it will be just three girls, or five girls, or six girls that I'll be teaching, but nonetheless, I'm looking forward to it very much.

Just so I don't oust my other favorite catalog, it's The Learning House catalog. I could spend hours studying that one too and it's the one I've used for years. The great thing for us about The Learning House is that it is a reasonable driving distance away from our home, so instead of mail ordering our curriculum we always go in to pick it up. At the same time, I can ask lots of questions of their friendly and helpful staff and they always have great recommendations and advice for us.

So, if I don't resurface for a few days, I'm likely still pouring over my new catalog ;o). (Yikes! I think I need to get out more ;oD)!

Blessings!

  1. Oh I miss those days...school is going really well with my children but I do miss homeschooling. And I may homeschool my daughter for some of middle school ...not my favorite time to have them in public school. but anyhow...enjoy your catalog browsing I hope it warms up for you my family has told me it has been very cold back in the North East ~Love Heather

  3. I hear there are Changes in the Sonlight catalog and that makes me dread it. I'm a fuddy duddy like that. And mine hasn't come yet! Apparently Canada is easier to get to than Texas. Humph. =) Blessings!

  6. I was so disappointed in the catalog this year because they've eliminated all the mini-summaries of the books!

But the curriculum still looks AWESOME.
