Beach Day

It was a perfectly gorgeous day out yesterday. In fact it was (finally) hot!

So what to do on such a marvelous day?

Why head to the beach of course!

Come on guys the water's great!

Last one in is it!

We enjoyed a little four legged visitor who had a curious habit of rocking back and forth over the water until he popped his head under and ran on to the sand where he would drop a stone.

He knew enough not to follow the kids to deeper water.

Time to build imaginary worlds with furry dragons who destroy the village!

We are so glad for hot weather!

  2. No, not yet, although we would have gladly taken that little guy home with us!

  3. I'm very envious of your non-populated beach.

I took the boys and friends to our local park/beach a couple weeks ago and was so disgusted I never want to go back!

Especially with the boys getting to be older... there was just too much there that they don't need to be seeing and hearing.

    Yuck.

Looks like you had a great time! How far do you have to go to get to the beach?

  4. Julie,

We are blessed to be very close to the beach! We're ten minutes away.

Our beaches are not always this empty -- and what you don't know is that in Ontario, women are allowed to be topless on our beaches. Ugh!! We've seen it once and hope to never see it again. Thankfully she was pretty far away, and our kids were quite young yet when it happened.

Nope, propriety is not big on this end of the continent either!

  6. Your beach is stunning. And I had no idea that someplace in Canada actually allowed topless bathing. Wow. And yuck.
