The sky is a crystal clear blue and there is not a trace of humidity today. Someone way off in the distance is burning their brush pile and the cool breezes bring the occasional whiff of woodsmoke.
The children are feeling quarrelsome and cannot seem to entertain themselves for very long. The pool has lost its appeal and they've "done everything exciting that there is to do".
Where did the summer go? Today it feels like the middle of September. It makes me feel a little blue.
