22 Days to Less Mess (Day 14 Bedroom 2)

This room is ridiculously tiny for two, but Peach's room is even smaller, so cram them in it is.

As you can tell by this photo, motivation is not high on Beans's priority list -- unless it comes to practicing piano. She will do that for hours at a time when home during the day. I guess I should be quiet and not push her to clean -- after all she's an artist at work :o)!

Shockingly, Squirt who tends to be the messier of the two, got motivated to start tidying and sorting on her own. It was nice because I had very little work to do in their room, but wash their sheets and make their beds.

Have you ever tried to make a bunkbed? It's a cruel and unusual form of punishment!

  2. Oh my goodness, bunkbeds are pure torture! That's why we haven't bunked the boys' beds yet. Cruel, unusual punishment indeed!

  3. Amen! Especially when they're up against a wall, though that niche sure is a cozy space :D

I just put the flannels on our two sets of bunks, complete with duvet cover. ACK! I always work up a sweat!

  4. I love that green on the walls--very pretty! And making bunkbeds is the worst! Still, I had bunkbeds when I was a kid, and I loved them (and yep, I had to make them; loved that less).

  7. Oh their room is so cute! I love the green! It reminds me of the small room that I used to have with my two sisters... :) Even fitting two dressers in!

Yes, making bunkbeds is very hard, and that's why my bed (top bunk) was rarely ever made. Uually only on the weekends...sometimes.

  8. Oh yes, the suns sleep in bunks- this is where having a husband who is two meters tall can really help. That and when faced with painting the ceiling...
