Who Knew?

When I started blogging a little over three years ago, I never imagined the wonderful, beautiful,  and blessed friendships that would form because of it. This weekend one of my far away blogging friends Annesta and I got to meet face to face!! It was like we had known each other for years! Her daughter is studying nearby in MI, so she was able to come visit too. Oh, they are both beautiful inside and out! We were so blessed to have them in our home. To show them a bit of where we live.

For me blogging is still about journalling our family's everyday happenings, but the fact that I've made some new friends along the way is a very special gift!  We may be separated by miles and miles, but through the wonders of the internet, I have several very kindred spirits.

Our family is very blessed!

(I'd post a photo or two, but can you believe I didn't touch the camera except to get some photos of the most exquisite white flowers in the field. Sad, yes very sad!)

Happy Monday (or what's left of it) everyone!

  3. Isn't that the coolest? I agree that I had no idea I'd make some of the friends that I have. I've been able to meet 3 other bloggers IRL. But I look forward to meeting more. One of them came here with her entire family (6 total) and stayed with us a couple of summers ago. It was a blast. Who knows? Maybe we'll make it to Canada one day. :-)

  4. Emily, I saw in you a kindred spirit the first time I read your blog :o).

Julie, so do I! I so wish we had gone out west last fall like we were originally planning. Now it will be a few years again, I'm sure.

Dianne, you are very welcome to come stay with us if you every come this way! Emily and Julie, you too!

  8. Amen. I could be a wee bit envious of Annesta for the opportunity of meeting you. But I am thrilled at the happiness you both shared in such a meeting.
