The March Lion

Although spring has officially arrived on the calender, winter doesn't want to seem to loosen her grip. The snow was all but gone on Monday and then through the night on Tuesday we awoke to a good six inches of it again. Add to that some rain and freezing rain and we had  yet another snow day.

Jonathan, one of our tradesmen working on the house teased Squirt on Wednesday morning by telling her that she was going to have to repeat grade three because of all the snow days. The poor girl's eyes were almost popping out of her head at the idea of it. She was looking at me for assurance that he was wrong, but I wasn't going to let on to the truth. She is so fun! He didn't leave her wondering long, but we had a good laugh about it.

Thursday dawned sunny and cold! It was gorgeous out!

Blessings!

  5. Beautiful pictures Deborah! Sorry about old man winter not wanting to leave you. You should not be so hospitalbe and maybe he would pack up and leave!
We so enjoyed having the Engineer over for dinner last night. He is a good sport to put up with our kids and two dogs! I'm sure he will fill you in on how he discovered that we are NOT the perfect family!!

  7. It is beautiful here, too, but cold, too! I think we are all tired of cold. Your pictures are beautiful. We've been joking with our kids that they are going to be going to school until mid-summer!

  9. Gorgeous photos! Snow ... yikes! It reached 80*F in the house yesterday with our windows open and the ceiling fans running. It won't be long before I have to break down and turn on the a/c.
