A Blanket for Bella

Remember this afghan I was crocheting? Well, I finished it on December 22nd. Bella's birthday.

I didn't plan that, but it seems more than appropriate to gift it to Bella when we finally go to the PI. It is cotton candy soft with an  even softer white trim.

In the end, it is shaped more like a trapezoid than a rectangle, and I ripped out huge sections more times than I can count, but you know what? I really really like crocheting. There is something so relaxing and methodical about it. Now I'm trying to decide what my next project will be. Does anyone else have some projects in the works during the relative quiet of January?

Blessings!

  10. Lovely! And I adore the fringe. What a wonderful touch.

I have too many projects in the works--socks, sweaters, a quilt. But I like being able to craft according to the dictates of my moods, so it all works out!
