And it Snowed

We woke up to the white stuff yesterday morning. I was confident it wouldn't stay, but in the meantime, I had two little girls who wanted to go out while it was still dark so they could play in it. Talk about excitement :o)!

Maverick seemed to take it all in stride during his morning ritual. He kept trying to eat it (goofy dog), but promptly went about his business so I could go back indoors to warm my feet that had been clad only in crocks.

  1. Pretty! I know - the CROCS. We'll have to stash them away. Wait! I have the fuzzy ones, too!

  4. Pom Pom that's a great idea! I'll have to keep my eyes open for a fuzzy pair.

Lol! Beth, I knew you'd appreciate this post ;o).

Julie, the snow only stayed for a couple of hours, but enough for the kids to keep busy for a little while anyways. I hope for your boys' sake you do get some snow again this year too.

  6. We got snow too...and hail and lots of wind. Lily was in heaven (I have to admit, I screamed with excitement, too. There's something magical about the first snow of the season even if it doesn't amount to much).

  9. No, no, no! I'm just not ready for it yet!! Thankfully, we're many miles farther south than you are so hopefully I still have a little while to mentally prepare. My boys, on the other hand, are sitting on pins and needles in anticipation!

p.s. Your pup is precious!! I'm a huge dog lover myself-- your photos of your furry friend are a delight!

  10. Pretty, but looks sooooooooo cold. I know, I was just complaining about heat. LOL Now we've had an unusual cold front move in, and it's 69 degrees (F) in my house. Way chillier than we're used to. Love the pic of Maverick!

  11. Oh, wonderful snow. We experience so little of that here, it is treasured when it does happen to fall. Looks like joy abounded there!
