1000 Gifts

As summer deepens into the first breaths of autumn, there are numerous new and wonderful things to appreciate, to give thanks for and to feel blessed about.

A sweet girl filled Sunday school class.

Meaningful worship.

Children who are adjusting very well to school days.

An afternoon and evening with the Engineer and Bub, sipping Starbucks treats and sharing laughter.

A fabulous find for the Wee Three. (More about it in a much later post. I want to do some other things before I reveal).

Puppy love. Oh my, he is a sweet heart!

The beginning of the fall colours.

Fresh, crisp, bright mornings.

Newly picked apples. Yum!

Country fairs.

A brand new front loading washing machine.

Still line drying the laundry.

Some rain. It has been such a dry dry summer here!

A fourteenth birthday! I can't believe my first baby is fourteen already!

Silence throughout my house. I will confess, it does get to me a bit after awhile though.

Small accomplishments around the house.

Peace in my heart.

A new GEMS season.

Feeling more fit and healthy every week.

Giving thanks to God for Blessings #'s 720-738

  1. Sweet Deborah, what a lovely list! I join you in gratitude for peace in our hearts, for feeling fit and healthy and for fresh, crisp mornings. It will be another month or so before we experience that! And, I have never eaten a fresh picked apple. Would love to see how one taste!
    Enjoy your week!
    grace to you

  2. Your lists are always a joy to read. "Peace in your heart." That is my favorite one.

  3. I too love your lists.

And while all were certainly a joy to read, the one that spoke the most to me was," peace in my heart". It jumped right up and bit me.
