Signs of Spring

Spring has definitely sprung in these parts. Not only do my pounding head and drippy nose tell me so, but the birds and flowers to too.

Here are some more positive sides to spring than my allergic reaction:

Birds in our birdbath.
Canada geese honking overhead in the early morning.
Tidied gardens
Crocuses and other flowers peeking out their colourful heads.
Lots of budding shrubs and trees.
A live woolly bear caterpiller (I found him under a pile of leaves that I raked off my one flower bed).
A clean van (for the first time in months).
Rosy cheeked little girls who fall asleep before supper.

American Robin

Common Grackle

Silver Maple

Apple Tree

Woolly Bear Caterpillar (Isabella Tiger Moth)

  1. Wonderful photos! I will have to show the caterpillar to my oldest - he will enjoy that a lot.
