Paper Crafting Wednesday

I'm joining in on Paper Crafting Wednesday at Kelli's blog again today, but today I am not going to show you any of my work. These lovely little creations were made by my oldest daughter. She is ten.

These come from a book called Paper Fashions by Klutz. Peach has been thinking about buying this book for months, so when we went to the Big City a couple weeks ago, she finally decided she could use some of her spending money to buy it. It is an expensive book, so I was pleased to know that she had thought about it long and hard before parting with her money.

She loves paper dolls and will patiently sit and cut for hours, so this project makes perfect sense for her to do. I love her use of colour and her eye for detail. Aren't the tiny seed beed buttons pretty?

On another note, I want to say a special thank you to Kelli for drawing my name last week in her giveaway. I am looking forward to receiving supplies in the mail for making one of her beautiful cards. If you haven't had a peek at her paper crafts before, I recommend you pop by her blog and have a look. She is a very talented lady!

  2. Tell her she did a fine job. I like to see children do creative things rather thanjust watching TV or playing video games.
