By the Skin of Their Teeth

Bub and Peach both finished their math lessons for 2008 today. They should have been done before our holidays began, but both of them procrastinated. Peach became overwhelmed and Bub, well he just had to get past a 'tude he was having. Anyways, they both finished today, and I hope they learned more than just some math. I hoped they learned that procrastination and bad attitudes will not get the work done.

Now they can start afresh in brand new books in January. Woo hoo!!

  1. How do you work your school year? Do you school year-round, or...?

  2. We typically go from end of August, early September to end of May early June. Somewhere in there would be vaction time totalling approximately four weeks, depending on the year.

We are starting some new books because I guess my kids are more motivated than I realise, or maybe I am just a pushy Mom. Heh heh! They work at their own Mom guided pace.
